Oakham Finals Festival

The 2009 ECB U13 County Cup Finals festival took place at Oakham School, Rutland on 3rd & 4th August.

The four teams battling it out to try and win this year's competition were Middlesex, Surrey, Northamptonshire and Yorkshire. Unfortunately the weather had a very big hand to play in the competition and on the Tuesday only 11 overs were possible in total in the two games. This meant that after consultation with the team managers they decided that they wanted to play the Semi-Finals and forego the Final. As a result the Semi-Finals were played on the following day and Yorkshire and Northamptonshire shared the trophy.
